This morning, your guide will come and find you at hotel for the sightseeing around Mandalay.

Start sightseeing at Ava, an ancient imperial capital of successive Burmese kingdoms from the 14th to 19th centuries. The city was finally abandoned after destroyed by a major earthquake in March 1839.Cross the river and ride a horse cart among paddy fields. Visit the former royal capital and its beautiful old monasteries.


In the afternoon, continue to Amarapura , it was the capital of Myanmar twice during the Konbaung period (1783–1821 and 1842–1859) before finally being supplanted by Mandalay 11 km north in 1859.

This place is well known for its traditional silk and cotton weaving, and bronze casting.


In the evening, visit the famous U Bein Bridge (over 200 years old), the longest teakwood bridge in the world, and Bagaya monastery with its fabulous collection of Buddha statues.
